Whoever came up with concrete anyway?

I also support variety in bricks. 'round here, all the bricks are the same. one house made all of red bricks, one house all of brown bricks. I love my house, an older house where each brick was unique. We've got red ones, light brown ones, brown ones, dark brown ones, nearly black ones. Why don't they make those anymore?

I think it was the Romans...

heh...I have no idea why not...maybe due to mass production variety is reduced because of what happens when an object (like a brick) is standardised.

Originally I thought about calling bricks support me...heh

oh, I guess I forgot to mention, it was in worship of Saturn and the celebrations took place before his Temples. and that's where we get our Christmas tradition of gift giving, which was a huge part of Saturnalia (this giving was called "saturnalia et sigillaricia") ^^
