Wow, five photographs at once! a real treat for all of you! these five photogrpahs are of, well, roses. taken earlier today (25.5.07), just outside my house, for as you see, these roses are right on the chapel, or just next to it.

its part of the residence...where i live is a converted convent that has been split into about 30~ places, and the old chapel/bell tower etc. is communal

This photo is the best in the series. All seem to be over-exposed however. Perhaps a douse of saturation/countering the exposure problem would bring out some detail and solidify background from subject.

ok...cool, church turned into apartments....there's a big catholic church a couple blocks up from us, the building that used to be the convent is half a block from us and was turned into apartments....the main part of the church is still a church, but the basement and rear are now a caitering {sp?} place and the side wing {which i guess was priest quarters once} was a private little academy run by the Seahawks {Seattles football team...american football} but now it's available for whatever commericial stuff.....next door to the church is an old firehouse that is now a community center and is the local food bank for the neighborhood....
